Jarrod finally proposed in Colorado at the end of July, him and Katy took a hike up a mountain and at the end of the journey he popped the question(totally worth all of the hard work)! He had this all planned and ready to go for 2 months and no one had any idea. I was so happy and shocked that they were engaged that I literally was squealing looking at the Instagram post Katy posted the day of! I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding one day but I didn’t know it would be happening in 2017! I cannot wait for these two to get married next year and for Katy to join the Lichty family officially! Thier engagement session started out on Jarrod’s mom’s property where they are going to be getting married, and then we crossed Kilbuck Creek and went over to my father in law’s property. So many amazing spots and the lighting was so lovely! Ralphie, of course, had to make his appearance, he looked oh so handsome with his wreath made by Lori from London Avenue Designs!
Jarrod and Katy, I am not sure I can wait a full year until you two tie the knot but I am super excited to be along for this amazing journey!
