When Kate and Kyle asked me to photograph their wedding, I felt completely honored! They will be getting married next September in Colorado; I cannot wait to photograph such a beautiful place with an amazing couple! Trying to think of what we should do for their engagement session that somewhat resembled their Colorado wedding next year was kind of difficult. Devils Lake was the closest thing I could think of that could even compare to what Colorado looked like. We did a little hiking and lots of walking to get to some beautiful spots last weekend, and it was totally worth it! I love when my couples are adventurous because I like to explore and get dirty. I didn’t feel like I was at an engagement session with Kate and Kyle, I felt like I was just hanging out with a couple of friends driving in the car for the 4 hours total and hiking through Devils Lake. I cannot wait to do some more hiking next year but in Colorado with two kind hearted people!
Kate and Kyle you two are so wonderful, and I am one lucky photographer to have such an awesome couple to photograph and hang out with, can’t wait for next year!
